Two men and a child were lucky to escape serious injury after the vehicle they were in went through a gate and boundary wall earlier today.
The driver lost control of the bakkie on Sweetwaters Road, in Boughton Pietermaritzburg.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found that the vehicle went through the main gate to a property, down an embankment, through the boundary wall into the neighbour’s property.
Fortunately no one was knocked over by the vehicle.
The occupants of the vehicle, two men, and a girl aged about three, sustained minor injuries. They were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
