EASTERN CAPE – The Motherwell Cluster Operational Command Centre (OCC) members arrested a 30-year-old male for the possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday, 25 July 2019 at 14:00 in Cintsa Street, NU5, Motherwell.
The arrest followed after the OCC members spotted a suspicious blue VW Jetta parked in the yard of a house in Cintsa Street. After checking the vehicle, the members established that it was stolen in Walmer earlier this month. Upon following up information supplied by the homeowner, the 30-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested.
He will be appearing before the Motherwell Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 26 July 2019 on a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle.
