Question:
A Minibus with a sticker 100 circled with a red ring sticked at back of minibus
The road speed limit =120 km/hr
The minibus carries 15 people safely , as the bus is new and travels at 120 km/hr on a highway wich is correct, why the the 100 circled sticker at back sticked by supplier of viechle when bought?
Can I remove this sticker, or what does the traffic dept say?
Answer:
The sticker indicates the speed a public passenger vehicle must travel, the restriction applies to all public transport vehicle / taxis / vehicles carrying passengers for hire and reward for which a pdp/prdp is required over and above the code of drivers licence needed for the vehicle.
If this vehicle is used as a staff bus or for reward then that sticker must stay as well as all other markings required for taxis.
Hope this answers sufficiently.
