Distracted driving has become a serious concern with more and more road users feeling that they “know how to do it” or can still be safe while doing so – often not being aware of the nature of the risks.
The team at DefensiveDriving.org. in the U.S. created guides that help people protect themselves and others on the road. A particular area of concern for them is the issue of distracted driving.
Distracted driving is one of the biggest causes of death in our country, and especially for young people. Many teens don’t think twice about sending a text while driving, and it’s difficult for them to grasp the inherent danger of doing just that. To put things into perspective, they created a visual representation of just how dangerous distracted driving is.
