According to the BrandZ Top 50 Global Brands Report, JAC Motors ranks 40th among global Chinese brands in 2021. It ranks fifth among Chinese auto brands and is one of the top 20 Chinese “star” brands in emerging markets. It ranks under the top three automotive brands in emerging markets, showing tremendous global growth and brand loyalty.
As the world’s largest brand equity data platform, BrandZ refers to Google questionnaires and Google/YouTube search indexes, combining the results of more than 860 000 global consumer surveys with each brand’s financial value and operating performance indicated.
The BrandZ report shows that JAC Motors stood out among more than 1 662 candidate brands in 15 categories across 11 countries and regions, demonstrating the influence and reputation of the Brand in the eyes of global customers.
Over the last decades, JAC Motors has established a marketing network covering more than 130 countries and regions in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In 2021, JAC Motors exported nearly 100 000 vehicles to its global marketing network.
In 2021, good news came from all over the world. JAC Motors’ light trucks won the local Chinese auto brand sales award for the 11th consecutive year in Chile. In Peru, JAC Motors ranked first in the sales of local Chinese light trucks for 11 straight years, relying on hard-core product strengths and a competitive product portfolio.
JAC Motors has been the number one brand in the Uruguayan light truck market for eight consecutive years, and in Ecuador, the JAC T6 double-cab was one of the ten best-selling models of the year.
In Russia, the sales of JAC Motors’ light trucks rank first among Chinese brands. The company has been the top Chinese brand for commercial vehicle sales in Bangladesh. It also won the “Presidential Industrial Development Award” issued by the Bangladeshi government. In Kazakhstan, the JAC Motors plant completed the production of the 40 000th unit in October 2021.
The export performance of JAC Motors’ fuel vehicles is outstanding, with new energy vehicles also performing strongly. JAC Motors has reached cooperation agreements with its electric light truck offering with DHL, Pepsi, Carrefour, and other global Top 500 companies in Brazil.
Currently, JAC Motors’ electric vehicle sales account for more than 60 percent of Mexico’s total electric vehicle market. The high-end battery-electric JAC IC5 delivery was also the single largest electric car order of a Chinese auto brand in the Mexican market.
In Israel, JAC e-S2 electric vehicles were sold to a large taxi group in its capital, promoting green urban traffic in high-end European markets. In Russia, the JAC iEV7S was the first electric vehicle in the country.
The growth and performance of JAC Motors is a powerful manifestation of the continuous improvement of the Brand’s influence in overseas markets.
