Jaguar Land Rover South Africa is aware of the current scam in South Africa involving false recall notifications across various car manufacturer vehicles. We urge you, as a Jaguar Land Rover customer, to be informed and act accordingly.
Customers could be called by someone impersonating a Jaguar Land Rover dealer and notified of an urgent recall which requires their vehicle to be towed. In the case of any legitimate recall action customers will be emailed
and telephoned to inform of the recall. Legitimate recalls emails will also always be accompanied by an official bulletin number.
Any Jaguar Land Rover customer who is suspicious of possible criminal activity involving the request of their vehicle for service work is welcome to call their nearest retailer directly to validate the information.
Regards
Jaguar Land Rover South Africa
