Last night Provincial Crime intelligence together with King William’s Town Flying Squad and K9 members arrested a 35-year-old man for possession of a stolen vehicle.
The arrest comes after Police followed the information they received about a stolen vehicle at Sophumelela Township in Kieskammahoek. They went to a house and recovered a white Toyota Corolla and through investigation, they discovered that the vehicle was reported as stolen in Durban Central in March 2017.
The suspect was immediately arrested and charged for possession of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was confiscated by Police.
The suspect will appear at Kieskammahoek Magistrate Court tomorrow.
