Police have launched a manhunt for a group of suspects who shot at a woman’s vehicle and robbed her of valuable personal items today at Anerly and Oxford Road, Killarney. The suspects fled the scene in a black VW Golf vehicle and police have launched a manhunt for them. Police are also appealing to anyone who might have information to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or forward an SMS to Prime Media Crime Line at 32211.
It is alleged that the victim was driving from Hyde Park towards Killarney when she was blocked by an unknown number of suspects driving a black VW Golf.
The suspects jumped out of their vehicle and fired shots at the driver. She was robbed of several items including, a Rolex watch, handbag, earrings and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then drove away.
A case of attempted murder and armed robbery is being investigated.
