did_you_knowQuestion:

Please could you help as the information I get seems to vary…

Can a youngerster with a Junior PDP drive with guests:

a. On a public road

b. If so how many people are allowed in the vehicle.

My son is 18 turning 19 and is a qulaified game ranger with a code 8 license.  The issue is what is he legally allowed to do when it comes to driving guests?

Answer:

If the persons are transported for reward or the vehicle is designed to carry 12 or more persons including the driver, then the driver requires a category P professional driving permit (PrDP). The minimum age for a category P PrDP is 21 years.
