A Toyota Tazz that was stolen in Kwadabeka in KZN was recovered by members of Reaction Unit South Africa in Esnembe.
At approximately 23:03 members of Reaction Officers were on patrol in the area when they noticed the vehicle traveling at high speed on the R614. Reaction Officers pursued the vehicle and requested a registration check which confirmed the vehicle to be stolen from Kwadabeka in Ntuzuma. Officers managed to stop the vehicle which consisted of the driver, two females and a child. The driver claimed that the vehicle belonged to him however he could not provide any documentation to confirm this. He also did not possess a drivers licence.
The driver was taken in for questioning by Police and the vehicle was impounded for further investigation.
