Suspect held for dagga and car breaking implements in Eastern Cape

East London Cluster: East London police conducted a search operation aimed at tackling crime generators in Quigney last night.

During the operation members searched a flat and arrested a 32 year old suspect for possession of dagga, estimated at R5000. The search also resulted in the confiscation of car breaking implements and possession of suspected stolen goods.

We believe that, this arrest will help us to address further burglaries and theft out of motor vehicles. The suspect is due to appear in the East London Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession of dagga, possession of car breaking implements and possession of suspected stolen goods.
