Members of the Port Elizabeth #FlyingSquad with members of Kwazakhele TaskTeam responded to a complaint of a hijacking in progress in Algoa Park today.
The vehicle was spotted in New Brighton area and a high speed chase ensued. Two suspects, aged 18 and 19 years, were arrested for hijacking and attempted murder.
Two replica firearms were recovered in the hijacked vehicle and one 9mm pistol with 8 live rounds of ammunition was seized.
The suspects will appear in court tomorrow, 15 September 2016.
