The public is requested to assist in locating the owner of the white Chev Cruze with registration NJ 90288.
The vehicle is abandoned on a hill several hundred meters off Oakford Road in Verulam. The windscreen is shattered and the bonnet is dented. A registration check was conducted and attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful. Initial reports received was that the vehicle was involved in a hit and run in Phoenix this morning where a pedestrian was killed however this is yet to be confirmed.
