The public is requested to be on the lookout for a white VW Polo with registration NJ 72729.
The vehicle was hijacked by three suspects on the corner of Redcliffe Drive and Buffelsdraai Road in Redcliffe this evening (Wednesday) while the driver was on her way to purchase bread at a local store. One of the suspects was confirmed to be armed with a firearm.
The driver was taken with the vehicle and dropped off on Oakford Road near a poultry farm before the suspects sped off in the direction of Osindisweni. The victim managed to make her way on foot to a nearby residence where she sought assistance. During an interview with Reaction Officers the female confirmed that while stationary at a stop street she noticed the three suspects alighting from a white Kia before they hijacked her.
