Two men have been arrested and charged for possession of property believed to be stolen in Glenhills this afternoon.
Marshall Security were alerted through the Sun Cell Watch communication network,to two men, who had been seen fleeing from an abandoned property in Elderbery Drive, in the quiet suburb of Glenhills, north of Durban at approximately 2PM. A gardener working at a property next door, noticed the men jumping the wall and fleeing with various items including two aluminum doors.
A description of the suspects was distributed to our reaction officers and a positive identification was made shortly after, resulting in the arrest of two men in Ryde Place.
The suspects were found with various house breaking instruments, the previously identified aluminum doors,as well as various other items believed to have been stolen.
The men were handed over to the Greenwood Park South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
