Question:
We own a 1962 Ford Anglia.
These cars were manufactured WITHOUT seatbelts and are not even fitted with the anchor points.
By fitting such the vehicles value, being a classic, will immediately depreciate.
Please forward the relevant documentation with regards to this.
Answer:
If the vehicle was manufactured before 1965 it is considered a vintage car and only needs to comply with the legislation applicable at that time. As far as I know seat belts have only been fitted since 1965.
