Driving without car insurance because you are a good driver is like not wearing a seatbelt because you intend to be driving slow. It is just plain stupid!!
We need to recognize that the roads are a place where we have to share space – and we share this space with some irresponsible people. Even though many of these drivers might not have the intention to cause harm and damage – they might be likely to do so negligently. They might be old drivers, drunk drivers or even criminals trying to get away from the scene of a crime and driving at inappropriate speeds!
Even something as simple as parking your vehicle in a safe spot might not prevent your vehicle from damage. You never know who will be driving past or who will be parking next to you!!
