Victim in attempted hijacking injured in Wendywood

Just after 12:30 this afternoon EMER-G-MED’s RV6, M07 and A03 were dispatched to reports of a shooting on the corner of Daphney and Wendy, in Wendywood.

Paramedics arrived to find SAPS on the scene of an attempted hijacking, where the victim sustained minor soft tissue injuries during a struggle. The patient was treated on the scene and did not require ambulance transportation.

One of the four suspects were arrested by SAPS on the scene. Expect delays due to police investigations.
