A 32-year-old male sustained serious injuries following an alleged hijacking in Regents Park in the South of Johannesburg last night.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 20H00, they found the man lying in the yard. He sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen. ER24 treated and stabilised the man at the scene before transporting him to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics.
