Do 6 tonner trucks have seat belts and if so would it be an offense not to use them?
Answer:
No the SANS specification only requires seat belts for goods vehicles up to 3 500 kg GVM, but if the vehicle is fitted with a seat belt the driver must wear it in terms of reg 213.
