We would like to share a notification from driving specialist Rob-Handfield Jones on the Gauteng Highway Improvement Project and the expected increase in cost of driving in Gauteng. He has compiled a very comprehensive summary on the costs and the impact of the Gauteng e-toll system and it is well worth reading:
“The window of opportunity for the public to make their submissions to the Steering Committee which has been convened to consider the tolls on the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project closes at the end of this week. I believe it is imperative that citizens should draw government’s attention to the many ways in which the project’s implementation has been flawed, and oppose the unfairly high toll tariffs.
