High-powered vehicles, explosives and goods worth millions of Rands Seized in Limpopo Province

Another confiscation of high-powered vehicles, explosives and goods worth millions of Rands in Limpopo Province by the SA National Defence Force and 4 Artillery Regiment in particular.

Whilst busy with Waylay operations on the Eastern side of Beitbridge Port of Entry, our hardworking soldiers confiscated a Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6 and Ford Ranger Stormtrak valued at R 754 000.00 and R 950 000.00 respectively.

Their counterparts near Gumbu mine confiscated goods/groceries valued at R 46 510.00, whereas on the Western side of Support Base, our heroes and heroines confiscated explosives and detonators valued at R 279 000.00 as well as 70 x undocumented persons.

It is worth noting that the same type of explosives and detonators were confiscated by our counterparts from Solomon Mahlangu Regiment in Randfontein in the West Rand in Gauteng Province under Operation PROSPER earlier this week.

The Acting Officer Commanding Joint Tactical Headquarters Limpopo, Lieutenant Colonel Joy Stasie, commended the members.
