A white Mercedes Benz Vito was gutted in a fire after it burst into flames on Jabu Ngcobo Road at the entrance of Trenance Park – KZN this morning (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene at approximately 09:04 and found the vehicle engulfed in flames. The driver, who is a mechanic, explained that he was test driving the vehicle after conducting repairs. He sustained minor burns and was provided First Aid on-site.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze upon their arrival. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
