Good day. Not sure if you can answer my question. Who is liable for the damage to the driving schools car when the learner damages the car during a driving lesson?

The information is a bit skimpy but let me give you the following answer. We assume that ownership of the vehicle is registered in the name of the driving school.
If the learner is a minor , and there is no contact regulating the relationship then the school will have great difficulties to recover any damages.
But I also believe that the fact that the school is teaching people to drive is an inherent risk to their business and they should either have a contract in place or insurance to cover any possible damages.
