5 Reasons why your vehicle will not start.
You are on your way to that important meeting or simply meeting a client when all a sudden you find out your vehicle does not want to start.
There could be several reasons as to why your vehicle will not start. The first thing that comes to your mind is a dead battery.
1. The most common causes for a dead battery is the following:
• Headlights was left on for too long or playing the radio for an extended period
• The Battery is due for replacement
• Battery Corrosion
• Bad Alternator

2. Bad / Faulty Starter
The Main function of a starter is to start up the combustion engine.
The most common causes of a faulty starter are the following:
• Faulty Solenoid switch
• Battery Corrosion
• Loose wiring

3. Faulty Ignition Switch
The ignition switch is used every time to start the vehicle and it is common for it to wear out over time. Putting the key in the ignition switch and starting the car feels like second nature.
Symptoms of a failing ignition:
• Vehicle will not start
• Key will not turn
• Vehicle stalls
• Dashboard lights are flickering
• Starter motor not turning

• Low Fuel in the tank
• Faulty spark plugs

4. Clogged Fuel Filter
The filter catches dirt/debris and ensures that the fuel delivery system stays clean and prevents the fuel injectors from clogging.
A clogged fuel filter will add pressure on the fuel pump, preventing the amount of fuel to reach the engine.
Common symptoms of a clogged filter are the following:
• Lack of engine power
• Engine misfire
• Engine stalling
• Check engine light pops up
5. Empty Fuel Tank
If this is the case, you are not the only person to drive with an empty/low fuel tank. Driving with an empty fuel tank can do some serious damage to your vehicle, specifically your fuel pump.

• Debris build-up
• Wears out the fuel pump
• Stalling of the vehicle
