A motor vehicle recovered after it was stolen during house robbery, Durban

Shortly after 06:00 on Thursday, Marshall Security was alerted to a motor vehicle which had been stolen during a house robbery in the La Mercy area north of Durban.

The vehicle was taken, a convertible BMW 1 series, was fitted with a satellite tracking device, monitored by Tracker SA and a signal was found to be repeating in the Inanda area.

Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team were activated to assist and after a brief tracking period, the vehicle was found abandoned on a gravel road in the Mawothi area, west of Inanda.

The suspects remain at large.

The vehicle was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
