Question:
I have read that you are allowed to tow a Caravan and a trailer together with one vehicle.
Now I just want to know if I am allowed to pull my Ski boat(fishing boat) also with a trailer connected to the boat trailer.
Answer:
You may tow two trailers but take note of the GCM of the drawing vehicle.
The mass of the drawing vehicles and the trailers may not exceed the mass.
You must also check the braking capacity. The tare of the drawing vehicle must be equal or more than the GVMs of the trailers combined if all the trailers have overrun brakes.
If the GVMs combined are more than the tare all the vehicles need to be equipped with service brakes.
You will find the GCM and GVM of the vehicles on the metal plates on the vehicles.
