Question:

May I drive in South Africa with a Zimbabwean driving licence or is a international driving licence required?

Answer:

In terms of the law, a driving licence that has been issued in a foreign country, is recognised as a valid driving licence in respect of the class of motor vehicle to which that licence or permit relates and subject to the conditions under which it was issued. In case where the licence is not in any of the official languages of the Republic, an International Driving Permit(IDP) issued by a competent authority is required.
