The Gauteng Traffic Police and Wardens STT (Eastern Corridor), in collaboration with SAPS and tracking companies, conducted operations across various parts of Ekurhuleni, leading to the recovery of several hijacked and stolen vehicles:
•A Ford Ranger, hijacked in Germiston, was recovered in Ethafeni Park, Tembisa.
•A Ford Everest, hijacked in Edenvale, was recovered in Hamilton, Edenvale.
•A Toyota, hijacked in Ivory Park and allegedly used in a house robbery in Maokeng Section, was found abandoned in Ivory Park Extension 07.
•A Ford Bantam, stolen in Brakpan, was recovered in Vosloorus, Khoza Street.
•A white Isuzu bakkie, hijacked in Springs, was recovered at Kwa-Thema Hostel.
•A white Ford Ranger, hijacked on the N3 near Heidelberg Mall, was recovered in Zonkizizwe.
