Would the absence of the signature of the traffic officer invalidate my traffic fine?

Question:

On the 30^th December 2016 I was stopped and issued a speeding fine by RTI on the N3 outside Camperdown.

I’m not disputing the fine for speeding, but although I signed the fine, the RTI officer did not. Is it valid?

Answer:

As long as the details of the officer are on the notice there is technically no problem with the ticket. If there is a court date and place and the accused is identified it is possible to issue a warrant.
