Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently standing off on Mbondwe Road in N section, KwaMashu following the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle this morning (Thursday).
The silver 1.6 VW Polo Comfortline was stolen from Heron Road in Kharwastan, Chatsworth. At approximately 06:28 the vehicle’s tracking device began emitting signals in the KwaMashu area. Reaction Officers whose vehicles are fitted with Vehicle Theft Units from Tracker began honing in on the signal and recovered the VW Polo abandoned on the roadside.
Several panels inside the vehicle were stripped.
