PRETORIA, South Africa, 11 November 2020 – Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA) is embarking on a pioneering and integrated renewable energy programme for its Silverton Assembly Plant in Pretoria, which assembles the Ranger pickup and Everest seven-seater SUV for domestic sales and exports to over 100 global markets.
Reaffirming Ford’s commitment to sustainability and reducing CO2 emissions, the project kicks off the company’s aim to be entirely green and energy self-sufficient by 2024.
