The South African Police Services has released crime statistics for the 9 months 1 March 2016 – 31 December 2016. Even though many crimes seem to be at levels “Maintained” similar to those of the previous year, there has been an alarming rise in incidents of carjacking.
It is especially vehicle owners in Gauteng who seem to be at the highest risk of being hijacked!
The Arrive Alive website will continue to share information and safety advice with road users in an effort to increase alertness on what is needed for increased safety!
